Is
this the only way..........so I will need to go on the 3com switch first and
configure the SNMP, and then I add a service on whatsup gold. What i need
a mib file and an OID to create this service.

just configure SNMP on the switch with community and scan services on the device from WUG.

Hi,
Is anyone using whatsup to monitor 3COM superstack II switch 1100 & 3300. We need to monitor these switches but I do not know how I would do this. Is it a matter of adding a device or what I need to do something extra. Can anyone advise.
