if you're not adverse to programming, you can use the Expect programming language to achieve this objective. Otherwise, as far as automated tools is concerned, you can look at Kiwi tools http://www.kiwisyslog.com/software_downloads.htm#cattools but don't know the limitations including specific device support. pj
