if you're not adverse to programming, you can use the Expect programming
language to achieve this objective.  Otherwise, as far as automated
tools is concerned, you can look at Kiwi tools
http://www.kiwisyslog.com/software_downloads.htm#cattools but don't know
the limitations including specific device support.

I know this is slightly off topic, but I think this group will have good
answers. You can email me directly or to the group.

Do you, and if yes how do you automate a telnet connection.  For example
I want to change the password on all my HP JetDirect printers, Cisco
switches and other network devices.  I'm looking for something that can
work with anything that supports telnet, not just Cisco.
