Visio guy here again.... :) Have you tried any of
the following WUG based methods;
1) change your print driver, or settings like reduce dpi
etc...
2) try a print driver that came with
OS?
3) switch from postscript to
HPGL or vice versa
4) enable postscript printers print errors function if
available
5) enable page protection on printer if
available
6) re-save BMP files in mono, 16, 256 or 24
bit color, then replace on map
Just ideas to try...

Hi,
thanks a lot for the quick response, but the
print-screen stuff is not an acceptable option I think,
since resizing to a "A3" Format will produce more
steps in a diagonal line and everything thats written under the icons will be
at this size unreadable.
When I take a look those printouts, which worked
out fine, should be a way to do it on other maps too.
The other way posted here to do the repainting
stuff with visio is a good idea, when you don't have nothing else to except
painting all the day, true ??
I think there must be an reason, why it's some
times working and some times not.
Why does the program has a printing option under
the file-menu, when I need to go through the screen-printing steps or repaint
everytthing with visio ?!?!?
Question over question. May IPSwitch has heared
about this Problem before, I bought version 8.00 and did all the updates with
the hope some day it'll work.

Hi you golden whatsup users,
I have a small problem here. I would like to
print my Maps I've created in WUG 8.03SP1.
That meens, I've createds a map as a bitmap,
loaded in to a Page of WUG.
On this map I put all the servers and clients
I would like to poll.
So fa so good, since I have those maps at the
screen my boss would like to see this on paper.
thats where my trouble starts, on a couple
maps the printting works fine when I entre the Edit-mode.
If I try to print from the map-mode I'll will
retrieve either a very small map or just only the hosts
(devices).
Inside the edit-mode it works for 60% of my
maps, the rest will just print the hosts (and the otther
devices)
but not my underlaying bitmap.
any advice ??
