Adding the button is easy - add this line to the TOOLS.ASP file (near the bottom with the rest of similar statements):
<INPUT type=submit value=Telnet name=Action> Getting the button to work is where I'm getting stuck at and it's probably because it's not obvious enough for me to see it and will require digging thru the WEB Template Reference (avail on IPSwitch's WEB site) to figure it out. If you figure it out before I do, let me know what you did to get it to work. ------------------------------------------------------------ Bryan Harrell, SPII Network Transport & Administration - Tallahassee Fla. Add %a to the argument for IP address too. Now if you right click on a device on the map it'll offer the telnet option. -----Original Message----- From: Joe Caparco [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 08 July 2004 13:59 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Telnet Button Does any one know how to add a button that could link to a telnet program (even if is the standard windows telnet)? I was trying to add this under the tools menu.
