Hi,

I had the same Problem and fixed it in the following way:

1) Install the Java-Telnet-Applet from https://sourceforge.net/projects/jta/ at the
Whatsup-Server (Using the standard IIS listening on port 80; Whatsup is running on
Port 8080)
2) modified the HTTP-Startpage of the Applet to an ASP-File to replace the
host-Parameter with the correct IP.
3) edit the hosttype-ini (Whatsup-Dir): add WNAME1=Telnet and
WCMD1=http://whatsup/telnet/telnet.asp?host=%a (have a look at the Whatsup-Knowledge
Base).
4) finished ;-)

If you got an easier solution please tell me !

Regards,

Markus

Does any one know how to add a button that could link to a telnet program (even if is
the standard windows telnet)?
I was trying to add this under the tools menu.

Thanks
