What exactly do you mean by the "device down scroller"?

We already have a logged feature request for Quickstatus to be able to display values
from components like SNMPMon. Using your example, I extended this to include info
from events.

I think it would be necessary to use % variables like in notifications. One would not
want the whole trap displayed. Just the interesting varbind.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Passing values to a service down event

We are using the device down scroller to report device down and service
events. It works very well.... Now I would like to know if a service goes
down and is scrolling if it is possible to include the value which triggered
the event?

An example would be if a high temperature event occurred (see below) and the
value was 51.00 - could the 51 be passed to the device down scroller?

20040712 141856 SNMP 123.123.123.123 Trap(temperatureThresholdViolation1)
mtrapargsInteger.0=32 mtrapargsString.0="Environment: High temperature
threshold violation of 51.00 F on probe 1." Addr:123.123.123.123 Int:6
Int:59 Tick:"3 days 05:52:08"
