The default MIB.TXT is based on the compilation of a lot of (mostly) standard MIBs. Depending on what you are compiling, there may be nothing new to add.
Try this... make a copy of MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT and then run mibextra with the same MIB you tried before - but this time use the -x option. This will uncompile the MIB instead of compile it. If there's anything already in MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT from your MIB file then they will be cleaned up. Then you run MIBExtra again, this time the normal way. You should now get definitions added. It would then be interesting to compare your new MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT with your backups. Ideally they should contain identical definitions.
