[WhatsUp Forum] Whatsup Gold - How to alert errors on cisco devices

I would like to monitor error counts on Cisco switches and routers, and would like the device to alarm if a threshold of errors is met.   I think the best way using whatsup gold would be using snmp, but how would I go about this?   Thanks for any help in advance.   Ganan
