Hi Gang,

I realize there are some questions regarding WhatsUp Professional pricing and
upgrade path. Here are the details:

Retail Price:............................................ $1495.00
Service Agreement Renewal................................ $395.00
Gold to Professional Upgrade/SA Holders:................. $0.00
Gold to Professional Upgrade/Non-SA Holders:............. $995.00

For those of you who do not have a current service agreement, the WhatsUp Gold
service agreement may be purchased for $395.00 any time prior to the release
of WhatsUp Professional, which is currently scheduled for 9-Nov-2004. It's a
great way to save a couple of bucks.

Cheers!

Would you like me to respond to this or should marketing take a whack?

Cheers!

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Concern over WhatsUP Pro

After the recent release of Ipswitch Collaboration Suite and how they messed
up the way it is marketed (You must buy things in a package not as individual
pieces and having a software contract means nothing you must repurchase) I am
concerned they may try to do the same thing with WhatsUp Pro. Can any one
reassure me that this is not the case, that we will be granted the upgrade to
Pro if we have a service contract?

I don't think I can stomach another $6000 surprise like I had with Imail.

Tim
