Richard, Could you ZIP and email me your WhatsUp Gold MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT? I would like to try and reproduce the Import error so that I can log it as a defect.

I had some junk in my Trap.txt file. Identified by using trapimport within CLI. Cleared and importing maps as we speak. If you've removed your mibs.txt and trap.txt files from the WhatsUp Gold directory, have you also removed them from the /program files/Ipswitch/WhatsUp Professional 2005/ directory? I seem to remember there was a lot of cruft left after the WhatsUp Professional uninstall. Usually I would just delete the entire Pro directory and start over--after verifying that my mibs.txt and trap.txt files were ok. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks, Steve Busby Information Technology Services University of Nebraska Medical Center 985030 Nebraska Medical Center [EMAIL PROTECTED] 402.559.9621 If Linux doesn't have the solution, you have the wrong problem. ***************University of Nebraska Medical Center E-mail Confidentiality Disclaimer *************** The information in this e-mail is privileged and confidential, intended only for the use of the addressee(s) above. Also, check your traps.txt file, this also could be screwing things up on the import. WhatsUp Professional comes with the same default mib.txt & traps.txt file WhatsUp Gold had. You can run trapimport from CLI and see what entry(ies) are killing it, then remove those entries from you snmp.txt file and try upgrading WhatsUp Professional again. It gets to Exporting Traps and stops. Does not get a chance to import maps. This didn't happen. Has anyone else had this issue? Let me add the info that my WUG is not installed on the C drive. Could this be what caused the issue?
