I thought the same thing - I installed WUG Pro but then wanted to still use WUG Gold but every time I opened the browser, the new version login screen appeared.
You have to stop the Ipswitch WhatsUp Engine service to stop the webserver then you can restart the previous version WUG Service and keep using the previous version of WUG.
