Thinking of doing the same thing. The only
other option is to remove the up notifications all together and obviously that’s
not a suitable option. ----------------------------------- Office: 602-955-5566

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alayna Cohn This is continually a problem. And,
becoming increasingly frustrating. This product should not have been released.
It is obviously not ready. It doesn’t even function as well as WhatsUp
Gold. Very, very bad. The constant Up notifications are forcing me to uninstall
this junk and put Gold back on. From:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Patel, Kushal Has anyone solved this problem yet? I am
monitoring network devices across a globally distributed MPLS and Internet
based VPN network. Due to the instability of some of the links I have an alert
sent only after 5 minutes of downtime. But as some of these links are not very
reliable they are going down for 1-2 minutes several times a day. This results
in no DOWN message (correct), but I am receiving an UP message every time this
happens (very annoying). Is there anyway to stop this? /kush From: Cochran, Ken
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I noticed the same thing on the test
machine that I set up. I have had some interfaces go down but the notification
is for 5 minutes before sending the down alert. So when there we have a line
bounce we get a notified that it is back up even though it has not sent the
down alert. From:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alayna Cohn I have exactly the same thing going on.
It’s only two of my machines, but it keeps happening. My machines are two
that are not on the LAN, but rather at a collocated facility. They are not
down, and have not been since the notifications have been a-flying. From:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jason Merrill I’m having an issue where I’m getting a ton of
notifications that interfaces are up even if they have never went down.
I’ve looked around for possible solutions but am finding nothing. Can
anyone give me some help or point me in the right direction? ----------------------------------- Office: 602-955-5566 Fax:
