another problem is data import from old WUG based system.
I have a lot of groups and a lot of they bindings with devices.
After import they all disappear!
Question to ipswitch: how i can perform upgrade to WUP with groups from WUG?

Hi!
The problem is that you can only bind one action policy with a device, and
if you do that you cant bind any other singel actions.
I am using action policys, but still miss the old group-feature.

I just created a new Action library group. I called it a group and was able
to add multiple e-mail addresses into the group. Very simple but it works.
I'm pretty sure that with the Action policy, you can select multiple actions
from the library to combine into one alert action. Seems to work just as
well as the old one to me.

Are you serious? Geez, for every apparently great feature they added in
Pro, it seems that they left out one from Gold. Did they just want to get
Pro out on the market in time for the holiday shooping season, or what?
HAHA!! We have to wait for the Pro SP1 to come out on this to get back some
features and functionality that we had with Gold?!?!

Hi!
Yes, the Action policies is a brand new feature, but it does not replace the
old groups.
If I want to setup an action policy where for example 10 people would have
an mail, popup and an sms I must do lots of work.
here it would be nice to already have an complete group that included all of
theese.

I think you might want to look at Action Policies. It allows many different
alerts to be combined and than applied to any device or monitor. Once
assigned, you can edit the policies in the Action Policies dialog without
having to make changes to all of the devices that use that particular
action.

I was upgraded my WUG test machine with a lot of groups. They all disappear
from notifications!
Also I try to find feature like a "groups" but there is nothing...
Any ideas?
