places to check, just off the top of my head: device properties - EVENTS device properties - ALERTS...........on the edit notification page, check under the ON EVENT option to be sure your specific SNMP trap is either checked or covered under the "any" radio button

Running WUG 8.04...
I am having problems getting an event to fire when an snmp trap is
received.
The trap shows up in the snmp trap log and the activity log and but no
event
is fired.
What am I missing? All the other events fire fine.
