I'm in the process of generating reports from the TAB files that indicate when a service/interface went down and sent pages to the appropriate people. I was curious if anyone else is doing this, or if there's a utility/tool available that can simplify the process? Currently I'll perform a search/window=(2,0) SMTPMail on the file which generates a sublist that I manually filter even further looking for up/down combination strings, and then create a report that shows device information, date, time, status, and comment data.
I know there's an Outage reports from WUP, but it doesn't show nearly enough detail for what I need. Any other suggestions?
