George, OK, here is what we are seeing when using the SQL Monitor.
Checking MSSQLSERVER ... Failed to load information for service 'MonSql:MSSQLSERVER'. Error=0x80041002 Checking SQLSERVERAGENT ... Failed to load information for service 'MonSql:SQLServerAgent'. Error=0x80041002 Is this due to permissions or something? Thanks, Grant Griffith Web Application Developer Enhanced Telecommunications Corp. As for mySQL, nothing planned. It is possible that you (someone) could script one using the active script monitor. I will let you know if it starts failing again. Is there any tool like this for mySQL, maybe planned? Also, what does this monitor really test? We have never got the MS SQL monitors to work properly. Therefore I need something to just run a query and check the results. We have done this using servers alive in the past and would like to do that same thing using WhatsUp. Basically just want to run a query and validate the response. Anyone have anything they can contribute? Thanks, Grant Griffith Web Application Developer Enhanced Telecommunications Corp.
