I agree with the last comment. We do the same thing. If we lose our primary router OR our SMTP server, we issue out a page via SMS-TAP to make our admins aware of the issue. Also, we have another site with WUG cross checking our primary WUG server and it sends out SMS-TAP pages if the WUG service is unavailable at the primary site. The primary site does the same with the cross-check server.
