Thanks,
I did just try that, to a couple I found on their website anyway. I'll wait and see if anything happens, and then try some more if I get nowhere.

Roger,

Maybe it would be better to just start sending unsubscribe emails to any and all email addresses that you can find on the web site. I ran into this same problem with another company and it turned out that they had done a "realignment" and forgotten to assign someone the task of checking the webmaster email address. (Apparently, they had also screwed up there subscribe/unsubscribe email handler such that it only worked for subscribing . . . sound familiar? ;-)

Respectfully,

That's not the point. Yes, I could set up a filter. But can't a "technology company" learn how to use technology?

If I set up a filter, ideally on my mail server so I don't even get the mail delivered to my home PC....and then I want to "re-subscribe" to the mailing list a year or 2 from now and try, it won't work since I'm already getting the mail sent to me - but my mail server is rejecting it. I'll then have to figure out why I can't get subscribed to the mailing list. All because I forgot about this filter I set up.

I'll have to see if there is someone at Ipswitch to call on the phone.

You could 'optimize' your junk mail filter. J

On the web page to unsubscribe it has the webmasters email in case there is any trouble.
I also tried to send the webmaster an email and get this reply back:

User mailbox exceeds allowed message count: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I don't think they want to lose any users.......

I've tried a few times to un-subscribe from this mailing list, but it never works.

I've visited this site: _http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.asp_

I've entered my name and the email address they're using to send me mailing list messages (I've double-checked the source code of the email to verify this)
I choose the Whats Up list dropdown item and choose UnSubscribe.

I then receive an email which I'm supposed to reply to, to confirm my request - which I do reply to, not changing any text at all.

I get an email reply that says:
*wrote:*
*There is no such list here.*
* *
*I can not get unsubscribed.*
Is there anyone from Ipswitch watching this list that can contact me so I can get un-subscribed? I have 2 email addresses that I'm receiving mailing list mail from.
