I was thinking about making omitted ="" for all attributes conforming. I'm
not sure it's a good idea, but might be worth considering.
Off the top of my head, cases where empty attribute values are used often:
* To disable <dfn> linking (<code title>).
* For images with empty alt text (<img alt src=foo>).
Pros:
* Three characters less to type.
Cons:
* Less obvious which attributes are boolean attributes and which are not
by looking at the source.
