"Subject" means scope, not namespace. Example: "Hamlet" was written William Shakespeare.

Scope is something CSS provides with nesting, adjacency and multiple classes on an element. But since this metadata proposal is *not* CSS it can probably provide whatever additional extensions or scoping are required.
