I have URLs emailed to me by users of our Wicket application often ("can you take a look at this article?") and about half of those are useless, as the user has aready submitted a form on the bookmarkable page she's on. I'm kind of tired of writing back, "can you tell me what the article ID is for that?" and I'm sure everyone else is too. We don't need the full state in URLs, just enough to find the right resource.
