should only be in the release-branch poms.
It is currently only in the release branch. But I differ that it
should only be in the release branch. The plugin will be released
someday (mvn guru expected somewhere 2-3 weeks from now).
I have the plugin contained to the release profile, which seems
correct. Then it can be in any branch, and only affects building a
release.
