why not make our lives much easier and drop maven 1 completely?

documentation to the place where maven 2 expects the docs.

This also means that the CHANGES.xml file has moved. You can now find it under:

    wicket/src/changes/changes.xml

As a side note: maven 1 will only be supported for building the jar
files, not for building the website, documentation etc.
