"As far as I understand it..." Peer is a concept I am picking
up from Swing. Swing has a concept of visual components that don't
normally exist in the underlying operating systems. Peers are native
implementations of those concepts.
So really what I am trying to say is this... we have some
Wicket component. It represents a concept. Like in my case, I have a
RoundCornerBorder. I don't care *how* it is implemented under the hood.
I just want to be able to insert it into my Page and have it work. A
RoundBorderCorner has two Peers:
1) HTML peer
2) CSS peer
When rendered, they output the HTML and CSS code necessary to
produce implement the concept. The relationship between them is one of
Peers. They are not parent/child relationships with respect to each
other or the Wicket component they are implementing.
