I've got an implementation ready which removes all id and wicket attributes which were use to identify wicket components. id="xxx" remains unchanged.
note: it currently uses the already existing setStripComponentNames() which already removes id="wicket-xx" => id="xxx" and wicket="xxx". Turning it on, now removes id="wicket-xxx" completely.
