Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Gili Tzabari (cowwoc) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Wicket swallows exception thrown by DynamicImageResource Initial Comment: If DynamicImageResource.toImageData() throws a runtime exception, it never gets displayed -- the page continues rendering as if nothing happened. As a result, the image quietly fails to render and it is not obvious what went wrong. This could have something to do with the fact that we've already sent out too much of the page in order to properly about (i.e. we already flushed the buffer once). I don't know for sure that this is what is happening -- I am just guessing. If this is the case, we should still handle this somehow though. Right now there is absolutely no indication anything went wrong. I say we should throw an exception so at least the server logs register the servlet died with a ServletException or something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684975&aid=1167900&group_id=119783 ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
