That were two students, Marco and Ruud. They selected a couple of
components, but I think the tree wasn't part of it. Such a tree can be
quite a difficult component to get right. I'm certainly interested in
cooperating, though I'm afraid I won't have much time for it actually.
But I think it is an important component to get right.

Imo building such a component would have two stages: the first is a
DHTML tree that is rendered with a tree model etc, and that works
nested in a form. The second is that tree with additional ajax
behaviour.

Do you have a concrete example/ starting point for an ajax tree?
