even after reading the counter-arguments, i'm still for this.
it's one of those cases where it's a very common thing to do
(probably MOST web apps have a need to simply modify
a tag attribute) and the alternative for beginners is quite
unintuitive and relies on knowledge they may not have yet.
so i'm still +1.
