i like branches/wicket_1_2_x much better then branches/wicket_1_2 that we have now, so i think we should make that change.
when we (martijn) make a release it can look like this:
copy branches/wicket_1_2_x /tags/wicket_1_2_2
copy tags/wicket_1_2_2 releases/wicket_1_2_2
tweak releases/wicket_1_2_2 and build the distro off the end result
this will eliminate confusing wicket_1_2_2 folder in branches and give martijn the leeway he needs

Thats fine by me. i thought we then have to branch there.
If you need such a thing make a releases\ folder where the releases are
with some extra commits that are purely for that release
