Hmm... my first thought is to do something like this:
@Override
public void onComponentTag(ComponentTag tag) {
super.onComponentTag(tag);
XmlTag newTag = new XmlTag();
newTag.setType(XmlTag.OPEN_CLOSE);
newTag.setName("name");
newTag.put("param", "foo");
this.getResponse().write(new ComponentTag(newTag));
}
but that's not tested.
