Thanks for testing them all out... With all these packages to build, I hardly get to doing this myself (as you have unfortunately discovered). And you're not being a nuisance *AT ALL*. This is why we release often, so these problems can get out of the way. Really thanks for checking this out!
With the move to maven 2 some things still aren't packaged right, which is unfortunate, and will need some fixing. I've created a bug report for this.

i launched eclipse, installed all the projects in eclipse with new->new
project
most packages compiled but some needed extra *.jars
Once all needed jars were installed all compiled.
But some problems still remain:
1. ParseHTML.java in src/test/com/meterware.httpunit does not compile
because WebTable.TableRow cannot be resolved to a type
2. unable to launch wicket-spring-examples-1.2-rc3 becauuse class path
resource [applicationContext.xml] cannot be opened because it does not exist
java.io.FileNotFoundException : class path resource [applicationContext.xml]
cannot be opened because it does not exist
3. unable to launch wicket-spring for the same reason as 2 above
What i'd like to suggest is to have all the jars preinstalled in the
packages so that each project is ready to go. In fact most of the needed
jars are already there, only 3/4 are still missing.
Being able to launch projects from eclipse would be great too.
In fact wicket-examples launches great, except for a
src/test/com/meterware.httpunit problem which does not actually prevent you
from running the examples anyway.
That's it, and sorry guys if all this seems to be nonsense.
