Phillip, one thing that I noticed when I was looking at your site is that most of the pages that you have are stubs. You've done an amazing job creating lots and lots of pages -- you have more than 3700 pages, which is incredible. But I hit "random page" a bunch of times, and most of the pages had no text at all.
I looked at your stats: http://216.151.156.20/EN/TablesWikiaPUPPET.htm The column "mean bytes" measures how much is on your pages. Your average is 357 bytes, which is low. Most wikis have an average of at least 1000 bytes per page. The column "larger than 0.5 Kb" also measures the page size, and on Puppet Wikia, it's at 8%. Most wikis have more than 50%. What that means is that Puppet Wikia has lots and lots of empty pages. Looking at Special:Longpages, it looks like you have about 700 pages with real content, and then about 3000 stubs. So when a reader comes to your wiki and starts clicking around, or hitting "random page", they'll find that most of the pages they click on don't have any content. I don't know for sure how that affects your readers, but it would be discouraging for me as a reader and a potential contributor. My advice, which you can take or leave, is this: A lot of the blank pages are episode guide pages. For each TV show, you've got an episode list on the show's article, and then you've created a blank page for each episode. I would suggest deleting all those blank episode pages. They're not doing anything for you right now, except adding a lot of clutter and empty space. I would also suggest deleting all the empty timeline pages -- you've got 365 pages that say "August 11 is the 11th day of the 8th month", etc. Then concentrate on adding content to the existing pages. Don't create any more stubs for a while; just try to build up the pages that you have, and see if you can get the "mean bytes" up. I don't know if that'll help you attract new contributors, but it wouldn't hurt, and it'll make your good content easier for readers to find. -- Danny
