OK - that looks very achievable. ---QUESTION for someone who understands bot privileges--- User JohnBot has the bot flag in the Vim Tips wiki http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page. Presumably that bot flag applies ONLY to that wiki? Or, could JohnBot also edit pages in the sawfish wiki, as a bot? I could just experiment with one edit to see, but a documented approach would be better. I think Janek wants 400+ pages edited in sawfish. Does sawfish have a bot user? What would be the best way to proceed if I come up with a script? ---Question for Janek--- I assume you are confident that all the affected pages have *one* instance of: <gallery> Image:whatever </gallery> and you just want that translated to: [[Image:whatever]] In a couple of days time I might be able to provide some code for that. The question about a bot above simply is concerned with what would appear in your 'recent changes' list if a script were to run. If run as a normal user (me for example), your RC would show 400+ changes. If run by a user designated as a bot, RC would show nothing (however, you could click 'Show bots' to see all changes).
