Steps:
* open http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:VisualEditorSandbox in stock
browser on Android 2.3.6
* zoom in
* start typing
* keep typing until you fall off the edge of the screen
Expected behavior:
* viewport should move to follow caret
Actual behavior:
* doesn't :)
Tested on Nexus 1, Android 2.3.6.
