Currently, IPv6 editors are caught by the AbuseFilter just fine, see
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/7256752>. However, even when
such an editor triggers a filter action, that address's AbuseLog remains
completely empty:
<http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:AbuseLog&wpSearchUser=2620%3A0%3A1000%3A1601%3ABAAC%3A6FFF%3AFE95%3A53AD>.
I have looked at several recent filter hits from IPv6 addresses and all show
the same effect. Anonymous editing from IPv6 addresses currently constitute
0.1-0.5% of filter hits, by my quick estimate, so it's not a big deal *yet*.
