Typing google: in MediaWiki Special:Search input box just seems bizarre to me and unnecessary since the majority of search engine browser address handle this sort of behaviour. Regardless it still needs to be fixed in MobileFrontend. However I'd say the urgency of the fix depends on how often this feature is actually used.
