This is a really nice improvement both for editors wanting to engage in activities and also to make our work during wiki workshops less clunky. =D I think this fixes my original bug (Bug 23151), though the present bug seems a bit more general. I do tend to agree with MZM that this deserves a more stable and universal solution...
