I would very much recommend against doing that, because that would override basically forever, until the local override is removed. This is a major issue for users of wikis with many local customisations that use a UI in a different language than the content language. This is related to gerrit 44224, gerrit 52434 and gerrit 55816 that aim to resolve bug 1495. It may be best to revert all of these as soon as possible and deploy the reverts on Wikimedia.
