Thanks very much for this valuable feedback! #1 You are saying that there is a problem in Firefox in that the keyboard is dismissed - clicking search should show this screen with the keyboard so a user can begin typing and search. The fact the keyboard disappears is confusing and should be fixed. This is not the case on Android 4 's native or Chrome browser. Can you confirm? #2 You dislike the fact that search takes up the full screen? The behaviour of making search take up the entire screen is by design. If you disagree with this I suggest you start a discussion around why either on MediaWiki.org or on one of our mailing lists - either mobile-l or wikitech-l [1] so that other people can chip in and we can reach consensus.
