Firefox/Opera 12/IE 9 with ClearType enabled

Here is an other screenshot with ClearType enabled. From left to right:

* Firefox with hardware acceleration disabled
* Opera 12
* IE 9

Same bug in Firefox and Opera, some pixels are completely missing. Enabling or
disabling ClearType has no effect on this bug, obviously.

IE 9 uses hardware acceleration by default. Because of this the font looks
different. But it's also distorted. The glyphs are more narrow and more blurred
compared to the default font (seen in the upper half of the screenshot). Some
glyphs are distorted. Look at the "g" from "English" and the "S" from "Suomi".

Enabling ClearType *and* hardware acceleration in Firefox makes it the same as
IE 9. Enabling hardware acceleration *without* ClearType makes it worse. A lot
worse. That's why I have no other choice than do disable both.

Why don't you use the default fonts for simple words like "English" that don't
contain any problematic characters?
