Couldn't you add a section to info action and leave the sidebar link alone for now? I agree with you that the sidebar section growth is untenable and will eventually need to be addressed (bug 43170), but perhaps it makes sense to first add the section to the info action before trying to kill the sidebar link? I'm also a bit confused as to what's being requested here specifically. I thought we already included some kind of Wikidata property in the basic information section of the info action?
