You are right - it is about two separate issues.

The main problem is "inconsistency"

Some computers the same problem exists what I reported earlier.

When I just checked the first input method available for ur, I get "مدرص"; a
slight variation from your observation.

When I just typed for the second input method, I got "اردو"; which is the right
outcome against what you reported above.

There is also a problem of ligatures - we find "فراءض" on the screen in place
of "فرائض" i.e. proper ligatures are not formed.
