--- Comment #37 from Lupo <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Juliusz Gonera from comment #36) > Is the data that > Steinsplitter quotes based on period after that date? Yes. If it was enabled on the 15th, I had been patrolling that image stream both before and after. I didn't notice any difference at all. We still get about the same number of uploads, and the success quota (useful, non-copyvio uploads) through that Mobile/Web upload is still very, very low. It's truly hideous. I invite you to just monitor that stream yourself for some time: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChangesLinked/Category:Uploaded_with_Mobile/Web Or see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:MobileUpload-related_deletion_requests or https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Mobile_app/deletion_request_tracking with all its archives: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:PrefixIndex/Commons:Mobile_app/deletion_request_tracking/archive And that's only the ones that we catch... Or just look a little through the by now nearly 15'000 files in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Uploaded_with_Mobile/Web You should have no problem finding copyvios galore, or unused & basically unusable selfies. Just shows how much slips through the first level screening. (The statistics for the category itself may be a little bit better since a lot already got deleted, but still: Augias' stable was a cleanroom compared to that.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
