We don't. Jon provided some funky tool in comment 11 but I've been unable to
get it to work. Krinkle provided a theoretical explanation on why this should
make a difference in comment 10.

You are actually proposing restoring this to CSS :), because it's already been
removed (in spite of working well since 2004). I wouldn't mind that,

Not by IE 6, but by every other browser, yes. IE 7+ supports them too.
