            Bug ID: 69568
Summary: VisualEditor: Offer to pre-fill the DEFAULTSORT field
           Product: VisualEditor
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: Editing Tools
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected], [email protected]
       Web browser: ---
   Mobile Platform: ---

Usually, DEFAULTSORT contents need only a little re-arranging or capitalization
changes. If the name is long or unfamiliar, it may be difficult to type it to
make these relatively minor changes. It would be nice to pre-fill the box with
the page title.

But if VisualEditor simply fills in the box whenever you open the Page settings
menu, then we'll get a lot of errors (because people won't notice that it needs
to be updated).

Possible solution: Add a button next to the DEFAULTSORT item to insert the
current page title as text that the editor can then change as needed.
