Is the user actually watching the Flow page? This could be checked by simply looking at the big star to the right of the page title, if it's highlighted, that means the page is watched 2. Has the user ever replied to any topic on the flow page. If a user has replied to any post inside a topic, the user is automatically subscribed to all activities on that topic. If this happens, the star to the right of the topic title is highlighted (In reply to Amir E.
