There's links and documentation someplace on mw.org; I can try to find it later. We're not in the business of accounting for badly-configured, worn-out, or broken monitors. We just aren't. In the year 2014, the use of CRTs is in rapid decline; in fact, I'm not sure when I last saw one in use - not even in poorer parts of the world.
