--- Comment #7 from mayurkumar <[email protected]> 2010-07-19 10:52:24 UTC --- I agree with you but the main purpose is to give some good user the priviledge to edit protected pages of protection level "confirmed & sysop". if we make our main and famous pages semiprotected then it will be edited by no of autoconfirmed user Which have none of experience of thet field and thats generally happens. Here are very less active admins. We can only manage to write good article and protect them from vanadalism by protecting them. There are some good user which may handle our mainpage subarticles such as news, featured article etc.So if we will make them protect to autoconfirmed level, many unexperienced user try to edit this and make unnessary damage to these articles. Making of "confirmed users and sysops" protection level will grant only admins and confimed user to edit this useful pages. So We want an another protection level "confirmed & sysop" to resolve this issue. We hope that this issue may be resolved as soon as possible. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
