I think it could definitely work on HI wiki, but we just have to understand your use cases. Right now UploadWizard is focused on Commons' needs. The Wiki Loves Monuments project is coming up and we're using that to make UploadWizard more configurable for different projects and wikis. - What licenses are you going to need? Does HI wiki allow fair use? Do you want to "transparently" upload to Commons if the license is compatible with Commons? (in theory we can do this but we've never tried).
