This is an issue in the new ("ooMenu" based) suggester.
The new suggester looks like a tooltip. Like it's broken somehow. It doesn't
look like it can be clicked. Also the clickable region is much smaller than
before. Which is an UX issue.
The expected behavior is to span the width of the input. Which was what the old
suggester did. See the top half of the screenshot.
